About Us

Thomas DugganThomas Duggan began his woodworking career at a young age working in a family business on residential projects of a wide spectrum. The carpentry trades mostly appealed to his interest and this led him to pursue a career specializing in custom cabinetry and furniture making. After a period of study at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore he began a career as an apprentice in woodworking shops. He learned the trade of cabinet making and millwork while working alongside skilled cabinetmakers in the Fairfield county area. For ten years Thomas gained hands-on experience with joinery, materials, and design in various cabinet shops in Connecticut and New York City. He also worked with furniture-making studios and Steinway & Sons Piano makers.

In 2005, Thomas began Thomas Duggan Woodworking LLC. Over the past several years, he has built a solid reputation one custom project at a time. He works out of a 2,000 square foot facility with a highly trained staff, modern technology and old-fashioned craftsmanship. Thomas Duggan Woodworking produces custom cabinetry and millwork for kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, libraries, entertainment centers, and home offices. He also creates custom furniture in traditional and contemporary styles. For more information please contact us.
